New · Dice game · 2 to 8 players

Langur Burjathe dice game of the festival nights.

लङ्गुर बुर्जा

Six dice, six symbols. Put your chips on the symbols you think will land. Two or more dice on yours pays that many times your bet.

Free to play. Virtual chips only, never real money. 18+. The iPhone version is on its way.

How it plays

A round in four beats.

  1. Step 1: Bank

One player banks. The bank moves to the next player every round.

  2. Step 2: Bet

Everyone else puts chips on any of the six symbols before the timer runs out.

  3. Step 3: Roll

Six dice tumble out of the bowl onto the mat.

  4. Step 4: Pay

Two or more on your symbol pays that many times. None or one, the banker keeps it.

FAQ

Good questions, asked.

How do you play Langur Burja?

One player banks and everyone else bets on the six symbols. Six dice are rolled: a symbol on two or more dice pays that many times its bet, and on none or one the banker keeps it. The bank moves to the next player every round.

Is it the same as Jhandi Munda?

Yes, it is the same six-symbol dice game, called Jhandi Munda in India and Crown and Anchor in England. In Juwa Adda a symbol on none or one die loses, and two or more pays.

Can I play without internet?

Yes. Practice tables against bots work with no internet, and Nearby lets one phone host a table over the same WiFi so friends in the room can join without any internet connection.

Is it real money?

No. Juwa Adda uses virtual chips only. Chips have no cash value, can never be cashed out, and never move between players.
