Who we are

Juwa Adda is a card-game app made by Vividia Infosys Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu, Nepal (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Juwa Adda apps for Android and iOS and this website. Questions go to [email protected].

Juwa Adda is for players aged 18 and over. All coins, gems and chips are virtual: they have no cash value and cannot be cashed out or sent to other players.

The short version

  • Offline play and the scorekeeper work without an account. A guest's score pad stays on the phone.
  • Online play needs an account (a guest account works too), so we hold your profile, your balances and your game history.
  • We do not ask for your location or contacts. We see your photos only when you choose a profile picture. Optional table voice chat asks for microphone access when you choose to join it.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on our account deletion page.

What we collect, and why

Your account

The mobile app offers Google and Apple sign-in and guest play. With social sign-in, we receive the account identifier, available name and email address, never your password. A guest account has no email address. You can add a display name and a profile picture; the picture is stored so other players can see it at the table.

Your play

We record your coin, gem and room-card balances and every change to them, the tables you join, hands and results, levels, missions, season progress, the cosmetics you own, and your friends list. We need this to run the game, keep balances correct, and stop cheating.

Purchases

Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which handle payment. We never see your card or bank details. We receive a record of the purchase (product, price, store transaction ID and date) through our purchase processor, RevenueCat, so we can deliver what you bought and handle refunds.

Table chat

Messages you send at a table are delivered to the other players at that table.

Optional voice chat

If you enable voice chat at a supported private table, microphone audio is sent through LiveKit Cloud to the other participants during the session. The app does not record voice chat or store audio on our game servers. You can mute or leave voice chat, and voice chat disconnects when the app goes into the background.

Score pad backup

If you are signed in to an account (not a guest), the scorekeeper backs up your score pads to that account, so you can restore them on a new phone.

Your device

The app sends an install identifier, which we store only in scrambled (hashed) form, to give the sign-up bonus once per device. We store a push token to send notifications you can turn off at any time, and we log the IP address and device type when you confirm you are 18 or over. Our servers also see IP addresses for security and to limit abuse.

App usage

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which screens and features are used, so we can improve the game.

Advertising

The free version shows ads, served through AppLovin MAX, which also works with Google AdMob. These providers may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address (from which they can estimate a general location), device details, diagnostic performance information and how you interact with the app and ads, to show and measure ads and prevent ad fraud. AppLovin also receives a pseudonymous player identifier to associate ad activity with your account.

  • On iPhone, you are asked before your advertising identifier is used for tracking. If you decline, ads are not personalised.
  • Where the law requires it, for example in the EEA and UK, you are asked for consent first.
  • Remove Ads and the Adda Pass turn off banner and pop-up ads.
  • Rewarded videos are always optional. When you finish one, the ad network tells our server so we can give you the reward.

Who else handles your data

Services that handle data from the app include:

  • Google Firebase: sign-in, push notifications and app analytics
  • Apple and Google: sign-in, if you use them, and store purchases
  • LiveKit Cloud: optional real-time table voice chat
  • RevenueCat: purchase records
  • AppLovin and Google AdMob: advertising
  • Amazon Web Services: profile picture storage
  • Our hosting and email providers: running our servers and sending account emails

These providers may process data outside Nepal. We also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect players and the service from fraud or abuse.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, email address, name, photo, sign-in links, devices and sessions, push tokens, friends, chat messages, score pad backups and cosmetics. Your remaining coins, gems and room cards are forfeited.

We keep records of past purchases and balance changes, linked only to an anonymous account number that no longer identifies you. We need them for financial reconciliation, tax, and handling refunds the stores send us later.

Deleting your account

  • In the app: Settings, then Delete Account. This works for every account, including guests.
  • On the web: request it on our account deletion page. We email a one-time link to the address on your account. Guest accounts have no email address, so delete them in the app.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel them in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

Your choices and rights

  • Turn off notifications in your phone's settings.
  • Limit ad tracking in your phone's settings, or with the consent choices in the app.
  • Change your display name and picture in the app.
  • Ask for a copy of your data, or for something to be corrected, by writing to [email protected] from the email address on your account.

Children

Juwa Adda is not meant for anyone under 18, and the app asks every player to confirm they are 18 or over. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Data travels between the app and our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and passwords are stored only in hashed form. No system is perfectly secure, so we limit what we collect to what the game needs.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we also tell you in the app.
